The Communicator
Ben stopped by on one of his patented random fly-throughs with some tapes on "The Rise of The German Nation" that he had picked up at Scrap and, remarkably, carrying a briefcase-sized Communicator, which was apparently The Most Advanced Audio Visual System Ever Designed in it's time. A perfect little device if you want to watch strange 70s-style film strips get pushed along on the little briefcase-sized screen as signals from the tape explaining how to operate the device cook along; but if you want to really watch something and load the tapes yourself, it gets a little tricker. The thing ran into mechanical problems and wouldn't stop forwarding the films, and seeing as Ben and Darren and I are computer geeks, all we could think to do was to push all the buttons, and eventually unplug the thing, hoping that it would reboot...
